Ennerdale 47th Annual Bull Sale Report

31 Poll Hereford bulls were offered at the 47th Annual Sale on Monday 6th March resulting in a total clearance & average of $4725.

Ennerdale Avenal (P) was the top price bull selling for $9000 and he was secured by repeat buyer, Merseybank Hereford Stud in Tasmania. Peter Godbolt, Landmark Studstock purchased the bull on behalf of Geoff Heazelwood.

Lot 5, Ennerdale Bannister (P) also headed across the water to Tasmania to Lawrance & Judy Fry for $7000. Long time purchasers David & Michelle Elsom paid $7000 for another Allendale Bushman son, Ennerdale Bancroft.

The Kenna family from Cliffney Park Farms, who have been buying Ennerdale bulls for 56 years, purchased two Ennerdale Archer sons at $5000 each. Other buyers to purchase multiple bulls were Vuillermin Past Co, W & F Tyrer, L & L Robilliard, James Parker, MJ & PE Whelan, B & G Richens and Damien Phillips.

Bulls sold from South Australia to Gippsland and Tasmania.
